5.0 out of 5 stars Best Diet Cookbook, 27 Aug 1999
By A Customer
This book makes the diet, SugarBusters!, only easier than it already is. With 400 delicious recipes, including desserts, and a red wine list composed by James Brennan of the World Famous Brennan's Restaurant in New Orleans, it's hard to imagine this cookbook is based on a diet concept. The book is such a bargain for everything included in it. It's great to use as a diet cookbook, but also has great recipes from the Brennan Family that don't neccessarily need to be used with a diet in mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Healthy and delicious! A top-notch culinary work!, 22 Aug 1999
By A Customer
This cookbook successfully incorporates many of the aspects that are missing in many current works. First and foremost, the recipes are concisely written and produce appetizing dishes with little effort (try the Scallops Créole and the Stuffed Sirloin Steak). Second, the book combines the tastes of the greatest restaurant, Brennan's, of the most interesting culinary region in the world, New Orleans. Last but not least, these dishes are good for you and the book even contains a helpful brand guide and wine suggestions! I recommend this work for both singles and families who want robust and satisfying meals.

5.0 out of 5 stars W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L, 19 Jul 1999
By A Customer
It's me again-----the little fatty from Birmingham, Alabama that wrote a comment in April, 1999. I still feel the same way about this book, however, more good news. In sixteen weeks, I have lost 45 POUNDS!!! With a combination of exercise, three quarts of water per day, my herbs and THIS COOKBOOK, I have really surprised myself. I am impressing my friends with all of these good recipes, since I used to only cook great things like hamburger helper and pot pies!!!!!!!
