Much of what was written could be obtained from eBay's online help, or researching what other people are doing, or simply using common sense. There were a few useful tips, but overall I thought the book was too lightweight. I found "eBay The Smart Way" by Joseph T. Sinclair a much more informed and comprehensive treatment of the subject.
