5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational and Encouraging, 8 Mar 2000
By A Customer
'Don't forget to look up' is written from the heart. Many suffer from anxiety disorder, but few have the courage to 'go public'. This personal account of anxiety and its effective treatment is both enlightening and practical. Can't wait for a follow up book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A life line to those who are sinking in a sea of anxiety!, 21 Sep 1999
By A Customer
Ms. Brittain has written an excellent book which clearly defines practical steps for living a normal life with an anxiety disorder. I have referred to it over and over again and always find comfort in how clearly she defines the symptoms and outlines ways to deal with them. She also weaves into her story how God is very much a part of her recovery and she includes wonderful scripture verses that give hope to the soul. This book will always have a place on my bookshelf.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read book! Learn how to cope and recover!, 13 April 1999
By A Customer
If you are struggling with anxiety and or panic attacks then you need to read this book. Unlike books written by Doctors about their patients, this author gives you a personal account with her struggles with panic and anxiety and how she was able with God's help to overcome them. I've referred back to this book many times, it's not only filled with practical insight on helping you understand and deal with panic and anxiety but it also refers to scripture dealing with anxiety. I have found that of all the books I've read, this one, has truly helped me the most in my recovery of anxiety. I highly recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't Panic
I found this book reasonably helpful in practical terms, but was a bit judgemental in a spiritual sense.

I've read this book about 3 times now and it is a really good constant reminder about where your focus should be especially from a Christian's perspective. Read more
