3.0 out of 5 stars Short and sweet,,,, 16 Jan 2007
By Mr. Rds Harley "Robin" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
At just 147 pages of 12-point type, this isn't a long book and I'd finished it just a couple of hours after Amazon delivered it!

To be fair to the author, he does say on the first page of the preface that "I'm not a writer by trade. What I am is a regular person..." so maybe it's a little unfair to criticize his writing style, and in that respect the book does read very much like the account of someone who has undergone a somewhat unique experience and just wants to get the basic facts down on paper and made known to the public. This is also reflected in the content which is sadly all too brief, fascinating though it is, and having read many books on the paranormal, UFO's etc, this did leave me wondering if there are more detailed accounts on this subject elsewhere.

Ultimately this is really a book for 'complete-ists' and in that respect it probably wouldn't be a good introduction for the reader looking for more of an insight or an education on Intuitive Communication. Is it true or not? Well that's for the reader to decide, but credit to Dan going to the effort of getting it published.

2.0 out of 5 stars You've Got To Be Kidding Me!, 8 Jul 1999
By A Customer
The writing is poor and the editing is a once over with a word processor spell checker. I cannot believe anything this author is saying. I do believe in the UFO cover-up, but I think this is made up and a rehash of other books in this genre. Try Dr. Paul Hills 'Unconventional Flying Objects' or the best selling author Jim Marr's 'Alien Agenda' or even Steiger's 'Rainbow Conspiracy' before bying this 'Tale'.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Rivetting Read???, 14 Sep 2003
This has to be one of the worst books on this subject I have ever
read in my life. Apart from the fact it's only 147 pages long, approximately one to one and a half hours read, I could never bring myself to admit this is anything more than a gloryfied pamphlet. The text is large the subject matter written in an unimagitanive fashion. I had great hopes for this title and was badly let down. Save your money and get The Beano annual or similar. Value for money zero.

5.0 out of 5 stars Above Black is gut-level convincing.
If you're expecting a mind-altering, Strieber-esque tour of the alien psyche, this book won't do it for you. Read more
