This book is it. If you suffer as I did from anxiety, panic attacks and phobias then this book by Jane Miller is a must read. The tools and technigues if used on a regular basis cannot help but to lead any phobic down the path toward recovery. We use this book in our groups because it is very easy to grasp the seven essential steps toward recovery and to then apply them to your individual needs. In my own path toward recovery I found the two most important steps were changing my belief system and relaxation. You cannot be relaxed and tense at the same time, therefore why not practice and get real good at relaxation. As far as the belief system is concerned, we all have heard the statement, '" You are what you eat", well you're also what you tell yourself you are, so be smart and tell yourself good positive things instead of scary negative things and in time you will be surprised at the results. The author, Jane Miller knows her stuff and has had some great help from colleagues and clients in putting this book together to the benefit of all that may read this book.
