A Dream come true project that has lead to further R/B proje
First of all, I would like to THANK Amazon.com for making my book a GREAT success, since it's Christmas release in 1997. I originally had a friend post my comments and as a result, he was bombarded by questions and requests, which I did not get until only recently. I apologize to your readers and want to offer my new address for this holiday season! There will be plenty of behind-the-scenes info there for everyone. In addition, we will offer RARE items and give the latest news on products and video releases (eg. MAD MONSTER PARTY DVD, VIDEO & CD). I am glad to see that MOST of your customers understood that my book is "A Portfolio" which Arthur Rankin, Jules Bass and I designed with great care and attention to layout. This was not my attempt at a "How to animate" book, for which I feel there is a much smaller audience (from the feedback I received). It is a celebration of the wonderful holiday programming presented by Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass and it has been reviewed quite well I might add. For example, Leonard Maltin (ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT) said, "I was blown away by this new book...What an incredible tribute, and wealth of information it contains!" I have acted as a consultant on all things RANKIN/BASS since it's publication (eg. re-mastered video and DVD releases, CD's, Figurine designs at ENESCO, STUFFINS dolls, magazine articles) and will continue to do so as long as there is interest! I went into the RANKIN/BASS project with the prospect of writing more books BUT the various RANKIN/BASS projects have taken up so much of my time, that I must continue to assist in preserving the history of RANKIN/BASS productions!
