5.0 out of 5 stars A good introduction to Chomsky's political work., 7 Jun 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Chronicles of Dissent (Hardcover)
This is much easier going than some of Chomsky's 'heavier' tomes and provides a good introduction to the man, his philosophy and political thought. Like much of his work, this is very rooted in specifically American politics, but the concepts within translate well to any western industrial 'democracy'. Chomsky's personal thoughts are represented better here than in other more analytical works of his, and these are inspiring. The format makes it easy to 'dip into'. If you're interested in The Man's work, this would be a good book of his to read first.
