Product Description

From the Author

Learning Chinese characters by their ancestral forms.

This book explains 288 common Chinese characters on the basis of their stylus-written ancestral forms. Also included are 72 color photographs taken in San Francisco's Chinatown, to show actual usage.

Multi-choice questions at the photographs allow practice to learn the characters.

A Character Finder allows quick location of the characters; the 288 characters are indexed by the number of strokes.

Flash Cards are included. These may be cut out and used for practice.
