An amazing work too important to ignore., 21 May 1999
By A Customer
This scholarly, fascinating work manages to weave the origins of man, religion and UFOs into a truly mind-bending treatment held together by masterful analysis of religious writings (primaily the Old and New Testaments), solid logic and skillful writing. The impact of this work is potentially profound. It has caused me to look at the world in a different way. Be forwarned that this is also a disturbing book, with implications almost too incredible to contemplate. The author has performed a service to mankind with the writing of 'The Yahweh Encounters'. Not for the intellectually timid.

Interesting Interpretation, 8 Mar 2006
I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Ann Madden Jones, although I have read much of this type of material before, she does present an interesting and imaginative insight into otherwise obscure areas of scripture. Madden relies on material by Zecharia Sitchin also (of Earth Chronicles fame), and that was about my only main concern with some of her material. Sitchin produes similar theories concerning our ancient past, and extra-terrestrial origins, although if Sitchin's work is fact, his evidence does not sufficientl back up his conclusions. To say that Sitchin's work influenced Madden would be unfair to the scholarly and research work that she has obviously under taken herself. Madden takes us on a trip down through the ages of the scriptures, from genesis to revelations, and also draws reference from non-canonical scriptures, to show that some of the many descriptions of the encounters with the God of the Old Testament, including also his emissaries or messengers, could also be references to highly sophisticated technology and space travel. I enjoyed her renditions and clarity of the Ark of the Covenant and holy of holies, including also her lead up to the emergence of the Jewish Messiah, Jesus, or more appropriately, Yahushua, as he would have been known to the Hebrews. She provides good insight into how Yahushua, and other men of reknown in the Bible, may actually have been created or born as a result of some kind of genetic manipulation by the very God of the Bible, and that some of his genes were mingled or implanted in these individuals. She delves into radioactive materials, the precise details of the ark, it's possible usage and purpose, human gene manupilation, and all the usual stuff of that ilk. There are many similar books around, but I enjoyed this work and felt it was much better presented and flowed better than many other similar books.A book which should be read with an open mind, Madden gives a convincing rendition as to how the whole Bible can have greater meanining for mankind today, in our technologically advanced state, and how many areas of scripture could relate to such technologies, written by a people, whom, although dealing with great technologies, were not really the people behind them, and would render their attempts to describe such matters in such a child-like fashion. Enjoyable book.

Yeah!... but its not all that..........., 5 Jun 2003
Anne had a brainstorm and decided to write a book that only correlates half the info available.....written in a "wouldn't it be fantastic if we observed this " kind of way, that gets really annoying about half way through.........no mention is made of the texts within the Maharabat(that give even greater detail of silver flying machines)...that is as least as old (as the fragments of the K.J. Bible we have been force fed) also reading it makes me gasp at the simplistic explainations of almost everything...........its ok but not if you started your quest a considerable time ago.............peace,love,and blessing to your God(s) whomever they reveal themselves to be......
