Following on from 'Please understand Me character and temperament types' Kiersey and Bates this takes Myers Briggs work based on Jung to a more digestible form. There are eight basic temperaments profiled, with minor differences based on extroversion/introversion highlighted. Understanding how common or rare your own and someone elses temperaments are helps considerably to value people similar to oneself and respect the strengths of the others. If we are looking for a good commander it is unreasonable to expect them to be good at design or checking details!!
