As someone who works in this field I can highly recommend this self hypnosis book.
Its one of the best books on self-hyp I have come across.

It would be impossible for any book of this kind to exactly meet your needs but if you view it as a simple guide to help you then it can be very effective.
The best way to use the book is to record your self speaking the self-hypnosis session of your choice from the book onto CD or Mp3, but make sure you speak slowly and softly with plenty of long pauses in-between sentances.

HenryBolduc's indirect style of hypnotherapy is used very much in the present day and often works far more effectively than suggestion therapy alone.
A really great self-hypnosis book.

This book is excellent to the extent that it provides scripts for self hypnosis. Although none of the scripts covered exactly what I wanted. However... I noticed that it uses quite old fashioned hypnosis ideas ie along the lines of you will feel relaxed rather than the more suggestive but easier to believe ... it's easy to feel relaxed when you are so comfortable.
