Charting the lives, loves and stranger relationships of Alec McGarry and his friendship with Danny Grey and the rest of 'The King Canute Crowd' (named after the near-mythic pub they frequent.)

This is life. Beautifully recalled and retold in snatches, as if told over a pint by an old friend.
A truly wonderful work from Campbell. This is comics at their very best
