Product Description

Review

The man-hunt, the trial, the last terrible moments are unforgettable … I confess that it left me completely shaken. --Daily Mirror

I read this novel when it was first published and can remember clearly what an impression it left on me. It certainly deserves to be discovered by a modern readership. --P.D. James

Product Description

Paul Presset cannot resist an open opportunity to rid himself of his overbearing wife. This powerful and haunting novel traces the dawn of motive in his mind, the murder, the man-hunt across England, the arrest, trial and final terrible scene of culmination. It was made into a BBC television series starring Ian Holm in 1980.

5.0 out of 5 stars we the accused, 21 Jun 2009
By Colin Atchinson - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: We, the accused (Paperback)
I remember the drama on tv back in the early 80's and the book is just as good the television adaptation, and is reall well worth a read.
