Book Description
Tigger the farm cat is forced to leave home due to a misunderstanding. A ship's Captain takes pity on him and he begins a new life on board ship as "Sailor Sam" and works to keep the ship free from vermin. Some of the sailors do not understand the nocturnal nature of cats and soon begin to complain that Sam is lazy. To prove them wrong, Sam decides to speed them to their destination by steering the ship at night. Alas, cats are not famed for their map-reading abilities and his actions have unexpected and humorous consequences. Where will the ship end up and will Sailor Sam be forgiven?

A lovely story for little ones.Sam is a lovable pussy cat who travels far and wide meeting all sorts of interesting characters.Ideal for 5-8 year olds who are beginning to read independently.
