I loved this book as it wasn't boring and dull like most of the business start-up books I have read. It has a great section towards the end of the book where you are asked 20 questions to determine if you are a successful entrepreneur or not. This really makes you think about yourself and your business idea and helps you to answer the questions that you may have avoided in the past. I've since set up 2 online business ideas and they are doing really well. I would put these ventures down to reading this book and then taking the entrepreneurial journey. If you've ever thought of starting a business then buy this book.

Iain Scott loves people, especially those who need a bit of help to find their voices. He is the ultimate passionate teacher and what he loves to teach is how to start your own business. The advice, in Tortoise Walking for Beginners, is so gentle it could have come only from a man who, himself, had experienced the journey. And the journey can be frightful if you are alone. I tell my audiences: "The death of the entrepreneur is solitude". Iain would never use such strong language but his book teaches the same principles: if you are thinking about starting your own business reach out, talk, network...get out of your protective tortoise shell!

This book gives you a unique perspective on starting a business and how to bring out the entrepreneur in you. A fresh approach to the traditional business plan, Iain's passion and straight talking makes for a fantastic read.

This book has done wonders for my own business and I would recommend it to everyone.
