5.0 out of 5 stars The best breastfeeding DIY book in the world!, 30 Jun 2006
If it wasn't for Sharon Trotter and her amazing book our family would be the poorer.

Although a breast feeding advocate herself, my wife was struggling to continue breast feeding after the 1st week of our new baby arrival. Instead of receiving informative care & support to continue natural feeding, the local medical professionals were encouraging steps towards artificial milk feeding.

Thankfully, the independent Trotter was there to save the day and the future well-being of our now thriving baby girl!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic... easy to read and very informative., 3 Mar 2006
This book has been a wonderful resource. I found it very useful when I was pregnant, as it enabled me to fully prepare for breastfeeding my baby. As well as learning about all the benefits of breastfeeding, I was fully aware of all the potential problems I might face, and how they can be overcome. Now (my breastfed 6 month old has only just started solids) I still refer to Sharon's book whenever I have a problem. This book should be recommended at antenatal classes and should be made available in the maternity wards for new mothers. The informative yet easy to read style, coupled with personal comments and anecdotes definitely makes this book worth recommending!
