Product Description
Book Description
This Book is a comprehensive guide to women’s personal safety, covering all essential subjects of this so important issue of today’s society, including statistics and graphics. It is covering subjects such as awareness, body language & confidence, preventative measures, date rape drugs, domestic abuse, controlling fear and intimidation and many more. Co-author is Gerry Smith, currently working for a National Women's Support Organisation. It is aimed at all female professionals working for support organisations, such as Women’s Aid, Rape Crisis, Victim Support and Social Services, but also at every female concerned about her personal safety.

From the Author
If you have survived a sexual crime once before then I hope this book will make you understand and believe that it was not your fault, that it was not just "one of the things that happen", that no one ever deserves to be raped, whatever the woman might wear and however she might be dressed, and that there is something that can be done in order to prevent re-victimisation. Violence against women is simply unacceptable. This is why I have finally written this book.
