Product Description

Book Description

Nathan Gill is a rare voice in the world of contemporary spirituality. Speaking with consistent clarity, he points out that all prescriptions for escape from the drama of separation actually serve as its reinforcement.

One-to-one dialogus and transcripts of goup meetings form the major part of this book. Also included, by way of an introduction, is a revised version of Nathan's popular booklet 'Clarity'.

From the Publisher

Nathan Gill's first book is an uncompromising set of dialogues on the theme of non-duality. Beyond self-help and therapy, 'Already Awake' suggests that 'as you are'is already whole and complete and that separation and lack aresimply thoughts arising in the ever-present clarity of your real nature.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, 22 Nov 2004
By Pete "Pete" (Midlands Uk) - See all my reviews
After reading Clarity by Nathan, all Tony Parsons' books, Awaken to the dream by Leo Hartong, books by Joan Tollifson, 'Sailor' Bob Adamson, Wayne Liquorman, Ramesh S. Balsekar and Nisargadatta Maharaj. I wondered if I really needed to read yet another book. But although 'I've' heard Nathan speak before and read these books, this book of dialogs is incredible. It gives the apparent seeker nothing!!!!!!!!! Every time a questioner assumes that this apparent process has some importance or has anything to do with the person 'they' think they are, Nathan consistently and relentlessly rips the rug right from under 'their' feet. Time and time again we are told, there is already no-one there, it's just an idea of an 'I', just an appearance, appearing in WHAT you are, present awareness!
After reading this book there maybe no need for the question 'when will 'I' get it' the question just seems stupid and redundant!! We are told there is already no one!! And if this is seen, it undermines the memorization with the story of a 'me'. Highly, highly recommended as are Tony's books and Leo's book!! Absolutely, breathtakingly non-dual, and as direct as 'I've' ever read it!! All the best, Pete!

*********

Its now 2009 and I have since re-read this book twice and what can I say! This book is incredible! Nathan is understated as an author, he's not a huge personality using flashy sexy sounding words that will feed the seeking to continue. He is so clear on the expression of this that I almost cry reading the words. You can go out and read a hundred books and go to many many retreats and search for more understanding and bigger experiences but maybe now, when you've done all that and your tired of continually waiting for something to happen to you, for something to be owned or understood by you, you'll be ready to read this book and hear Nathans constant, unrelenting pointing that already life is living itself. Honestly, after many years and many books, I can recommend no other book as strongly as I can this one!!! (If there was a joint favorite it would be Jeff Foster's `Beyond Awakening'). Enjoy! Pete

1.0 out of 5 stars No difference, 28 April 2006
I read this book twice and it made no difference at all.It reads nicely but made no difference. Nothing.Maybe I am too long on the search and have studied too much. So perhaps this book is inspirational if you are beginning.
