(REAL NAME)   
This is an unusual and gripping crime story, full of interesting characters and a plot full of twists and turns that kept me guessing till the end. It is set in the near future, in a world more technologically advanced than ours, but it is soon clear that human nature never changes. The heroine, Humility, a "low-tech woman in a hi-tech world", is a fascinating character, and when she discovers that someone she knows has been murdered, her courage and determination to find his killer belies her name, especially when she realises that by so doing she has put herself in terrible danger too. Highly recommended.

The first thing that strikes you about this book is its sheer, scary believability. Not for one second did I doubt the near-future could be (will be?) like this. Even less did I doubt
