Product Description

Book Description

An extraordinary boy is born in 1990 to two ordinary people. A dream portends his birth and the changes it will bring to the world. As Sean Bowden develops he frightens, challenges and inspires his parents. He is an enigma, unlike any child they had ever known. Regina and Jonathan Bowden learn to trust their son and the uniqueness that is inherent in themselves and in every individual.

As he grows into adulthood, Sean gradually let’s us in on his secret and takes us on a 70-year journey into the possibilities of the future. Through Sean, we witness and experience human evolution and an unfolding world that makes the Renaissance pale in comparison. We look at homosexuality, education, politics, roles of women and men and more under a new and interesting light. No group is excluded. Step by step the reader is brought to the fullest understanding of her or his ultimate nature and in doing so boundaries are smashed and horizons broadened. By story’s end, the narrow highway we call ‘normal’ is widened to include every individual on the planet.

William Marshall has researched and based these projections on current trends, inspiring world leaders, existing prophecies and texts, and his own intuitions. These various aspects are brought together in The Forgotten Self as an expanded approach to fiction. Not just an inspiring adventure, The Forgotten Self introduces the reader to unique concepts of the psyche, and weaves the teachings of Ekhart Tolle, Seth, Elias, Joseph Campbell, Khalil Gibran and Carl Jung into the fabric of the story.

Ultimately, The Forgotten Self is about the discovery and awakening of each individual's own forgotten self in this challenging and ever-changing world that is undergoing a shift in consciousness so grand that reality itself is challenged.

From the Publisher

The Forgotten self takes the reader on an 85-year roller coaster ride into the future. The story’s protagonist, Sean Bowden, brings with him into the world what he calls the ‘remembrance’ and an expanded understanding of reality. He weaves his way through cataclysms, wars, changing and governments.
The Forgotten Self is the adventure for the 21st century that is set to inspire.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very inspiring and enlightening, 15 Jan 2006
I read The Shift: A Time of Change and then came onto this one - it is fantastic! Well written, easy to digest and inspiring. It also holds fascinating little facts that I never knew before so it inspired me to look into Einstein and some of the philosophers that are mentioned throughout the book. Overall, I'd say it's a fascinating and light read, and I felt very satisfied at the end. I hope this book makes it big time - everyone should read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars It resonates with excitement, 11 Jan 2006
When I read the introduction, it created this excitement in me that I haven't felt in a long time. Of course, the rest of the book is also very well done and inspiring too! I've told everyone I know about it and that they should read it...because maybe that same excitement can come alive in everyone who reads it...and that is the ripple that spreads out in energy that encompasses the good things in life and creates a much more happy and relaxed world.

I've come to realise that enjoyment is the way to go and it is important. So, just for yourself, read The Forgotten Self and enjoy the experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars enlightening, 28 Oct 2005

(REAL NAME)
I could go on and on about this text. But what's the point. In a nutshell. Mr. Marshall brings a clarity to who and what we are. And how to make the best use out of this time period we call a lifetime. Through use of clear and precise writing the book helps the reader to undertsand what is important and what is based on an egocentric self. Take the time and read this book. It can and will change your life.
