5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, 27 Jul 2005
By Zara (Belfast) - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
Having read all of Marisa Mackle's books, this is her best so far. It is about a girl called Bunny who becomes famous for going to parties and is soon sucked into a whirlwind life of champagne parties and schmoozing with celebs. However Bunny's abusive ex boyfriend is furious about her new party lifestyle and starts blackmailing her. Bunny's background and dodgy past is something that she would rather kept brushed under the carpet. So how can she keep up the hectic party lifestyle and get rid of her menacing ex? This is a gripping read injected with lots of laugh-out-loud moments from a talented novelist. POerfect for the holidays!

5.0 out of 5 stars OUTSTANDING!, 21 April 2006
By Joanna (Co. Kerry) - See all my reviews
In my opinion, this is Marisa Mackle's best book. It offers a unique glimpse into the fickle life of a showbiz correspondence and shows how all the 'fun' parties you read about in the society magazines, are often as flat as the cheap champagne they serve, and where the guest 'celebrity' of the night is the local weathergirl on cable tv . Very well written with a twist that completely takes you by surprise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun, 6 Aug 2005
By A Customer
Marisa Mackle's books just seem to get better and better. I laughed out loud several times during this novel which is a bout a fun loving socialite and a journalist who get invited to all the best parties and live the dream until one day it all goes horribly wrong. Hugely recommended.
