5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent and to the point, 24 Mar 2002
By A Customer
An excellent book that goes beyond other "motivational" books i've read. Golsmith states that the aim of this book is to help the reader come to come to a decision: That wealth is what they want and they are willing to pay the price to get it (climbing the mountain) OR they are not willing to pay the price and can finally forget about dreaming and talking about it (and can then get on with enjoying their walk through the valleys).

Goldsmith explains that before you set out on the task of making wealth, you need to figure out for yourself "How much is enough?" For example, if you had a money making machine that produced a £10 note every time you pulled a lever, would you spend 18 hours a day pulling the lever, never stopping to enjoy the fruits of your labour, only to drop dead 30 years later beside a pile of 3 million £10 notes?

He also explains the downfalls of being mega-rich, including media and government harrassment.
A great book, well worth reading.
