5.0 out of 5 stars All proceeds are now going to local charities, 14 Aug 2001
As one of the people behind the unique MMPP project, I'm pleased to confirm that (from July 2001) the production costs have now been covered by book sales, so all proceeds are now being assigned to local charities. Thanks to everyone who has bought a copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a superb record of a slice of time in Maidenhead, 21 Dec 2000

(REAL NAME)
This book is a tremendous achievement by a team of people dedicated to recording the way of life in Maidenhead for future generations. The significance of this record should not be underestimated, think what it is like to look at historical pictures of where you live and these are the feelings this book will invoke for future generations looking back. This is not just a record of the place, but the way people see it, what they were doing that was important to them at the time. Beautifully produced and printed, EXCELLENT.
