Solid Evidence and Practical Advice, 23 Nov 2002
This book contains sensible and practical advice guiding to on how you can best protect yourself and your family.Having read extreme views on either side of the vaccination "debate", it was a relief to find a book that presented the evidence clearly, and made sense of it. Even those who have already made up their minds whether to vaccinate or not will find useful advice in this book. Also, if you wish to be more selective, you can use it to make an informed choice about each individual vaccine in use. The chapter "What Vaccines Are Made Of", although quite factual sets the tone of the book, which often appears quite one-sided. This chapter may be of particular interest to Vegetarians or those with similar views. This book guides you through the subtleties of the vaccination issues. These include: when vaccinating your child might put you at risk (and how to reduce that risk); and when protecting your child against a disease can do more harm than good. Any choice about vaccination you make, cannot protect you 100% from all risks. But this book will help you know what the risks are and how to reduce them. It also contains information on alternatives to vaccination, and some practical advice on asserting your legal rights. Although the book focuses on vaccinces mainly given in childhood, it contained the information I needed about travel vaccines. If you are considering any sort of vaccination for you or your child, read this book first! This book is also a must for doctors and anyone else in the business of giving or promoting vaccinations. Now you have heard about this book, ignorance is no excuse. It is cheap, concise and easy to read. I don't know of an easier way to get properly informed about this subject. If you don't either, then read "The Vaccination Bible"! It could save a life.
