5.0 out of 5 stars A supporters guide to the history of Leicester City F.C., 13 Jul 2000
By spatrickfamily@aol.com (Leicester, England) - See all my reviews
This is an easy to read account of one of todays established Premiership clubs. The author, Chris Lymn, a regular contributor to LCFC's fanzine, The Fox, and a lifelong supporter, captures the very essence of the club and it's traditons. With a ground that looks like it has borrowed a stand from every other division, and a team with the same never say die attitude as the fans, Leicester City continue to be a thorn in the side of many of the so called bigger clubs. The reader of this entertaining book is not just force fed the normal stats of similar publications, but is given an insight into many other aspects of the clubs history, including ex-managers, supporters and past favourite players. This book is a must for any self respecting member of the Blue Army
