Cyril Moore has spent most of his life researching the 121 windmills and their windmillers of Hertfordshire and it shows - with its many photographs it is a comprehensive gazetteer with much information on the Millers and their families (my own family of millers - wind and water, being well documented). It is a constant companion and never ceases to inspire conversation by its place on the coffee table.
Originally published for the Bishop's Stortford Local History Society at £price it is a snip.
