great read!, 12 Jan 2001
I like the match reports on Leeds and I also like the interviews with Harry Kewell and Michael Bridges and Lee Bowyer. I read the magazine, whihc is good, but this is loads better because its just about Leeds. The pictures are top, but it could use some posters.

The best Leeds United season review book I've ever seen!, 20 Dec 2000
By A Customer
I don't buy that many football books because they tend to be pretty bland affairs, but this Leeds season review captured the tone just right for me. It's interesting enough for a trainspotter and accessible enough for a part-time fan, telling the story of United's last season through game reports of every match the club played. There's no unwanted padding, but also there's more to it than the in-depth statistics and detailed team line-ups, as the Match Club Guides also has an in-depth appraisal of the performance given by every player throughout the season. And on top of that it shows how United's players rated against all the best players in the Premiership - and although Paolo Di Canio might be ranked MATCH's best Premier player of the season, many of the Leeds young guns appear at the top end of the Best 150 Premiership Players chart. This book is a real winner - and with similar books on sale for Newcastle & Chelsea, hopefully it won't be long until every football fan is able to own a book like this!

Brilliant! A totally comprehensive season round-up!, 20 Dec 2000
By A Customer
Written in real time, this book takes the reader through the 1999-2000 season as it happened. Every statistic that you could possibly want is present, right down to how many times United hit the woodwork all season. And if you want to remind yourself of how a certain goal was scored, every Leeds strike through the whole season is described in detail. The perfect easy-to-use accessory for any Leeds fan!
