An account, in the form of a lavishly-illustrated journal, of the first of many painting and fishing holidays that the Aberdeen artist R.H. Eadie and his wife spent around Loch Ewe in Wester Ross in Scotland. The Eadies' pictures gently evoke the scenery and atmosphere of this beautiful area. One aspect of the holiday was to cover the world-famous Inverewe Gardens in Wester Ross, where the juxtaposition of the hillside gardens and the west-coast seashore location offer great natural beauty.
