This book brings together a huge range of statistical data showing the history of Manchester United's greatest defeats. The book covers a century of defeats by often third rate teams, or even by complete non-entities. This amusing account of the way in which the giants of football professionalism can be humiliated by 'also rans' is a sobering reminder of the vulnerability of one of the world's greatest teams.

The book is presented in a jokey, comic format that will make it an ideal light-hearted gift for football fans everywhere. For those who love Manchester United it will give them an opportunity to laugh at themselves; for those who hate the very name, it will bring sheer joy!
