Product Description

Synopsis
Ralph Ellis and Edfu Books present the most radical and shocking revision of biblical history ever published 'Solomon, Falcon of Sheba' a 400-page epic that rediscovers the remarkable truth about a great swathe of Biblical and secular history. The Queen of Sheba, King Solomon and King David are still household names in much of the world, so how is it possible that these influential monarchs cannot be found in the archaeological record? The reality of this omission has perplexed theologians and historians alike for centuries, but Ralph Ellis has at last rediscovered the lost tombs and sarcophagi of these legendary monarchs.

Includes: The tomb, sarcophagus and mummy of the Queen of Sheba discovered; The family history of the Queen of Sheba discovered; The tomb, the solid silver sarcophagus and mummy of King David discovered; The solid gold death-mask of King David discovered; The surprising history and nationality of King David discovered; The true location of King David's city discovered; The tomb, magnificent silver sarcophagus and mummy of King Solomon discovered; The true relationship between the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon discovered; The tomb, sarcophagus and mummy of Joab (King David's general) discovered; The solid gold death-mask of Joab discovered; The sarcophagus of Hiram Abi (King Solomon's architect) discovered; The true location of King Solomon's Temple discovered; The location of King Solomon's Mines discovered; The ancient text that details the founding of the kingdom of Saba discovered.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another masterpiece, 12 Mar 2006
By A Customer
I thought Ellis may have run out of topics, but this one steams in with a flurry of research and facts that change our entire perception of history - once more. Have you ever wondered why King David and King Solomon cannot be found in the historical record? Well Ellis has found them in Egypt, and the surrounding evidence for this, I have to say, is nothing less than astounding.

King David a pharaoh of Egypt? You bet. This just has to be correct, it all fits together too well to be anything else. Hold on to your hats while reading this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Solomon and David explained, 15 Aug 2008
By Dimaryp "dimaryp" (Manchester, United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
A larger book than his average, this book is full of plenty of evidence linking King David and King Solomon to important people in history.
The evidence for this isn't even that hard to find as the similarities are more than obvious. Ralph addresses an important chapter of our past that should have been concluded long ago as anyone studying this topic would immedeatly notice the coincidences. This makes you wonder why the academic community hasn't told us about this long before now!

2.0 out of 5 stars Based on half-truths and mis-readings., 8 Jan 2009
Ralph Ellis is no more a credible historian than Dan Brown, they both write Fiction.
Anson Rainey, professor of ancient Near Eastern cultures, cautions the unwary about believing that the accounts of David and other biblical characters are but legends. "As someone who studies ancient inscriptions in the original, I have a responsibility to warn the lay audience that the new fad, the 'deconstructionist school,' . . . is merely a circle of dilettantes. Their view that nothing in Biblical tradition is earlier than the Persian period (540-330 B.C.), especially their denial of the existence of a United Monarchy, is a figment of their vain imagination. The name 'House of David' in the Tel Dan and Mesha inscriptions sounds the death knell to their specious conceit. Biblical scholarship and instruction should completely ignore the 'deconstructionist school.' They have nothing to teach us" (Biblical Archaeology Review, November- December 1994, p. 47).
