4.0 out of 5 stars The definitive A-Z of York City players from 1922-1997, 30 Jan 2000
By A Customer
This book is an absolute must for any York City fan.

Citizens and Minstermen is positively bursting with extensive profiles of every single player ever to have appeared for York City Football Club in a competitive game, including those who played for the Club during the wartime and in their pre-league days (before 1929). A brief summary of each player's career is complimented by in-depth statistical information with reference to the player's career with the Bootham Crescent club.

If that weren't enough, the book also boasts profiles of former managers, chairman, secretaries, trainers and coaches, plus a brief Club history and a generous helping of monochrome photos.

... this book has to be the best bargain since City signed Paul Barnes from Stoke for £50,000!
