This very useful handbook is full of information for the embryo and competent geneologist. Full, from cover to cover with fact, figures,help pages,where to look,how to look and many more interesting topics. It should be on the table of everyone who is intersted in the subject of tracing ones history.

It gives guidance on specialist persons who can do the work for you, books to read to further your knowledge, articles about specific events of the past which are most interesting. There is a section on military history and regiments and museums and how to find your ancestors who served the nation. Well presented and highly readable. A perfect reference book

I purchased this book on behalf of my father-in-law; he was very satisfied with it as it completed his set of albeit used but as new books concerning genealogy. I was very impressed with how the ordering process worked and how efficiently the book was despatched via Amazon Marketplace.

I've bought this handbook for four years now and each one is packed with information for your genealogy research. With links to websites, well written stories and guides to different areas of research each one is a self-contained easily readable guide.
I'm looking forward to the next edition already.
