3.0 out of 5 stars Basic Information, 5 Feb 2009
The main redeeming factor of this book is that gives a list of all the OS maps you will need and possibly the grid references list. It devotes three pages to Hypothermia and in its illistration of the "BODY" it tells you that your hands should be kept warm by wearing gloves and that your main body core temp must be maintained. The hand drawn maps are petty much useless and there doesnt seem to be any continuity from one to the next. There is a discription of the route and it has a useful distance/altitude guide and list of campsites and B&Bs. However at £6.50 this book seems a bit over priced.
