The compilation of Wainwright's excellent maps from his superb pictorial guides is a masterstroke, enabling the fellwalker to view planned (or completed) routes and walks in their entirety without searching through the guides. Use on the fells would be a waste however, mine are to be framed before being hung on the study wall.
