I must congratulate the authors for dealing with this complex genetic problem in an easy to read and informative way.

Much of the myth surrounding PKD is dispelled and sensible breeding programs are suggested, which if followed would eradicate this problem in a few generations.

This is a must read for all who breed or own Persian and other long haired cats.
