3.0 out of 5 stars Still the best but dated, 2 May 2006
This guide is still the best for birdwatching in Mallorca and would be especially useful to the first-time visitor. Unfortunately due to the many changes that the island has undergone much of the information is now quite out of date and might lead to confusion. One example is the information that is given for Casas Veyas; this site is now quite unaccessible and surrounded with wire mesh.

It is still a useful book but will become heavily annotated after its first use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved it, and v useful, 10 Aug 2007

(REAL NAME)
Ive just come back form a family holiday in Mallorca,
and I must say this book was a tremendous help.
Bits may be dated, sure, but for the big sites like S'Albufera, Boquera etc it was spot on and never left my side in the 2 weeks.
So its a must for the first timer to Mallorca.
well done
Jules
