When I read this book, I had high hopes in discovering new and unique advice to help me deceide whether Florida was the place for the ideal holiday home that my family and I had been dreaming of. However once I started to read it, I experienced a degree of deja vu. If you substitute the word Spain for Florida, it could easily be mistaken for this authors book on buying a home in Spain. Indeed on closer inspection vast tracts of text were identical. Whilst it gives good general information about how to buy a house abroad, don't kid yourself that it will give you a unique insight into buying a home in Florida.

I was upset with myself for not reading the reviews before I purchased it.
When will I learn, it was a waste of money and my son has already listed it on another auction site for me.

This book is one which has been well written, researched and gives some very good tips. It has saved a lot of hours surfing for advice however, could do with an update as the property market in Florida fluctuates wildly with the USA general market conditions and relatively shorter lifespan of property in that region.

Good as a starting point.
