A good guide for canoeists/kayakers and rafters. Gives detailed accounts of getting to the rivers, access and egress and areas. As with any guide the gradings are subject to interpretation, but this book is very fair. All in all, I would recommend this for any paddler contemplating an alpine trip. Hopefully get the southern guide soon and anticpate it should be just as good.
