This book still presents up to date information and advice.
Despite being written in 1992, the information in this book is still current and reflects the treatments and advice which we use at the Laminitis Clinic. We wish to warn horse and pony owners of farriery treatments, originating in Germany, which involve the horse being made to bear weight on its soles. We have heard of several horror stories from people having witnessed this type of treatment and wish to make it clear that we do not recommend it.
