5.0 out of 5 stars A Fascinating read, 21 Oct 2008
By P. Beckett "Paul" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought this book from a newsagent store on Barra island itself....probably the only newsagents there! It really is a fascinating little book to read crammed with the entire history of Barra Airport up to present day. Also it is very well illustrated with lots of photos, many in colour.

I would recommend anyone planning a visit to Barra to buy this book before going or you may be disappointed that you didn't (the copy which i bought on Barra was the ONLY one on the shelf!).
