My wife ordered this book for me way back in the summer as a birthday present for me and I had a long wait for it but well worth it!
As a long time and fanatical fan of the fantastic four this is the type of reference book that all of us U2 nuts have been waiting for with facts in an a to z fashion about the band,the backroom staff,venues played etc...
Even someone like myself who thought they knew it all could learn a thing or two
Well recommended for anyone who is thinking of staging a U2 quiz night!

I was really looking forward to this book, but unfortunately it rarely delivers. There are too many glaring errors (especially in the picture captions) and a large portion of the information is simply dull - most song descriptions are accompanied only by a rehash of the information that accompanies them on the record sleeve.

Still, there are one or two entries that are quite interesting, but, for the most part, this book is a wasted opportunity.

At last, after dozens of books about their life story etc we have what I would class as "The U2 bible". The discography is the best I have seen anywhere, the song titles, concert recordings, which formats they were issued on by country and the available re-mixes. Collectors of U2 vinyl/CD will love this book.
