Alice Cooper has created a series of myths about the band, and Michael Bruce - the writer of all the songs - has set some things straight. This annoys cooper's cronies.

I had been looking for this book for two years, first in all the major book shops and then when I discovered it was out of print, focus shifted to second hand shops. I had great hopes when visiting a major trader in second hand books, near Faringdon, North Somerset. But after two hours of trawling there I was left very disappointed. My drive to pursue this was revived after reading Alice Cooper's book, Golf Monster and I really wanted to get the other original band members take on how the band rose to fame and ultimately broke up. Thanks to Amazon I have this now. Whilst '..Nice Guy' is not a literary classic it answers a lot of questions for me that Alice' book did not. I hope that one day the late Glen Buxton will get the recognition he deserves as a truly great guitarist.
