This is a great read that will captivate anyone who knows that feeling of getting away from urban life and leaving the rat race behind in the gorgeous countryside of the scottish highlands. Reading Andrew's experiences can really take you into another world which we all know well but usually have to come back from when the day is over, however in this case Andrew got to spend 4 weeks out on the Isle Of Skye. Its also a must for anyone who has been to Skye who will relate to the many areas he visits on his adventure.

I would recommend this book to anyone! ecspecially those who have a heart that belongs out in the wild!

I would question how practical it is to walk around Skye. There is no recognised coastal path and very few beaches; mostly the coastline is very rugged with steep cliffs. On many occasions, the writer had to follow the main road, used by vehicular traffic, which does not correspond to my idea of getting away from it all.
