1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing., 2 Jul 2004
Be warned! This book is a geological guide and it does not have a single map in it. I have bought geological guides to the Lake District, Iceland, Ireland, Utah, Arizona, and many other places and all contain a variety of maps. As a geologist who likes busman's holidays, I felt very let-down by this publication. Hopefully the next edition will rectify this error.
Otherwise, it is quite a good book, with good descriptions of what can be found. However, the lack of maps only gets it 1 star in my opinion.
