Anyone familiar with the books of David Rothel will not be disappointed in this,his latest volume. This is a good indepth analysis of Richard Boone told by friends who knew and worked with him. Boone was one of the best all round bad guys in films and if his name was in the cast one knew it was going to be a good film. The book also contains complete episode guides for the four television series that he did and a filmography. One great surprise i got with the book was the free Johnny Western CD featuring the Have Gun Will Travel theme and Boone's only commercial recording The Guns Of Rio Muerto as well as eight or nine other songs.Highly recommended for Richard Boone and western fans.

I was surprised to receive a large, very well researched book about Boone. Its pictures were also beautiful. It's build with interviews with those who have known Boone. I had doubts about this method, but it worked fine. I think Boone had the charisma to be a great star, but maybe his looks did not allow it. Anyway, if you are interested in Boone, you find all essential facts about him in this book. I recommend it.
