An Informative,sometimes long winded, guide to "facilatating" Drum Circles. Arthur Hull seems a very charismatic figure in the Drum Circle world. This book will be of use to Percussion teachers and school teachers with an out-going origional approach to performance workshops. If you had the choice between buying the book or attending an event with Mr. Hull, I'd suggest the latter!

this is a great book, im a drum circle facilitator myself and his stories about some of his experiences are worth the price alone, he truly is the grandfather of the drum circle, i run groups of 8 to 100 or so, this guy deals with groups of 2000 plus and gives a fantastic insight into the potential of the medium, essential reading

I bought this book two years ago and have used it for reference ever since. As a fulltime drumcircle facilitator I regard it as my bible. I try things out in the field and refer back to the book if I encounter any problems. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to start drumming groups in their community, beginners or advanced. For professionals in the field it should be compulsory reading. The basic premise is that it is possible to make drumming in groups available to anyone and everyone.
