5.0 out of 5 stars War Diaries of U-764 Fact or Fiction?, 17 Feb 2009
By P. Brabbins (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
War Diaries of U-764: Fact or Fiction?
For me this book was wonderful as it was this U-boat that sank my dad's Corvette on 10th June 1944 off Normandy. It confirmed for me that life is often a series of accidents and coincidences. For someone with less of a personal interest it is a bit of a diatribe. Clearly there was no love lost between the skipper and the radio officer.
