5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book for Professional Photographers, 2 Jun 1998
By A Customer
This book is quite technical and is not meant for amateur photographers who want to dabble with IR for a couple of rolls to play around with. For professionally trained photographer's, this book is the standard of excellence in IR. So I disagree with those who have given this book low rating reviews. But I understand why. It is a very technical book aimed at understanding the nuances of IR film.. When one thinks about it, without an understanding of a film's characteristic's you are just guessing no matter what the film type!!! Bravo for this important work!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars A nice grounding for those starting out with Infrared, 28 April 2001
A nice mixture of technical and practical information combine to give a grounding in the use of I/R films. I found it gave me a starting point for going out and making my own tests.

2.0 out of 5 stars Semi-useful text, 27 Nov 1997
By A Customer
Okay, the book provided me with some tips on how to do things, as well as a little information, but on the whole, I have to agree with others that it was a little too technical for the average user.
