For those interested in seeing the evolution of the golden age of photography through the history of Kodak cameras, this is the book for you. Many of the cameras are described in detail with photographs included for many. If you want to start collecting cameras, Kodak cameras offer an inexpensive way to enter this hobby. The book includes many rare Kodak cameras as well as the disc and instant cameras. However, don't look for movie cameras, they are not included.

I may assume you have updated this book, as mine does not have disc cameras mentioned. Covers most topics untill you become so specialized, you need to find out your own information- sometimes very difficult. Excellent standard text for the average collector.Peter Venema -

For just starting out in collectable camera's it is a good book for identifing the many variations of early Kodaks cameras. However, it is let down by being 19 years since its last print run. Recent camera's need to be added for it to be classed as an excellent reference, such as the disc camera, as mentioned by another reviewer.
