The tenth Cerebus book.

Bluntly, Cerebus meets his maker who is rather irked by the way Cerebus has turned out. I think that this is among the best in the series; Cerebus learns some lessons (and, journeying through the pages of this volume, so did I.) In the last volume, Dave had a lot of personal things to say, and he isn't done yet. We get his opinion on how Cerebus has turned out and a damn fine attempt to beat some sense into the earth-pig born.

We also get to see into the history of the Cirinists (no, they've not gone away, yet) who have definitely come a long way since Cerebus fleeced them while in a higher plane.

This one is all graphic novel and, while not highly entertaining, it is compulisive and interesting to the Cerebus fan. We get to learn more about Cirin, Cerebus feelings for jaka and Dave himself. The comic relief of Binky and the roach is missing, but the plot thickener is suitably glutinous.
